Commonly asked questions

$150 for the full course fee? 

• Yes! This means you can attend any or ALL of the DIY DeFi tracks 

What is the “additional fees for DIY DeFi tracks – 1 ETH (~$4,413)”? 

• This fee is NOT payable to us. It is for you to try out the DeFi protocols
• This is what we require you to have to participate in the individual DeFi tracks 

What if I cannot afford 1 ETH? 

• You can choose to participate in just 1 track that you are most interested in; you can join all our sharings, just that if you do not have enough capital, you cannot participate directly in the activity 
• For example, if you are just interested in blockchain gaming, you can standby 0.4 ETH (~$1,600) for the gaming track session

I want to join all but I don’t even know how to buy crypto 

• No worries! As long as you have the capital it will be sufficient
• In the first introductory session on DeFi 101, we will walk you through the buying crypto process (from SGD to crypto) to prepare for the DIY DeFi tracks 

What if I can’t attend 1 of the sessions? 

• There will be recordings provided for the whole session which will be shared to all course participants after the course, so you can still review it. If you have signed up for this course, you can attend any future live sessions if you wish. Just let us know. 

Why is the course split into many different dates? 

• This is to aid your learning experience and to cater to working adults (course run on weekday nights)

What do I need to prepare before the sessions? 

• It will be good if you have 1 ETH ready for the DeFi tracks, Metamask account, a hardware wallet purchased. If not, you can sign up for xfers.io, binance.sg, binance.com, gemini.com and purchase a hardware wallet (ledger.com/trezor.io) beforehand.
• However, all these are optional and not mandatory. You can attend the sessions without preparing anything beforehand and we will guide you during the sessions.
